Wednesday, September 16, 2020Today, Mountain Top Industries officially announced their expansion into the U.S. market with the opening of a 73,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Montgomery. Mountain Top Industries is headquartered in Denmark and is a global leader in manufacturing of aluminum roll covers for pickup trucks. The new state-of-the-art facility, located along I-85 in Montgomery Industrial Park at 655 Industrial Park Boulevard, will include $13.5M in capital investment and will support 90 full time jobs with an annual payroll of $3.39M. Thursday, August 13, 2020TechMGM, Montgomery’s initiative to connect and leverage the city’s unique technology assets, will once again host the annual InnovateAFITC hackathon from August 17-26, 2020. This year, the cyber challenge will be held virtually due to COVID-19. Every year, InnovateAFITC challenges participants to create innovative solutions to significant cyber obstacles and threats. Participants this year will take part in three events, including an application building competition to help solve COVID-19 related obstacles that communities across the country are facing.
