Governor Kay Ivey joined executives of Hyundai Mobis, one of the world’s largest auto suppliers, to announce the company’s plans to invest $205 million to open an EV battery module plant in Montgomery that will eventually employ at least 400 people.

TechMGM’s “Camp IT” Introduces Montgomery Middle Schoolers to STEM and Information Technology Careers

On April 13, 2018 over 100 Montgomery middle school students will have a chance to get one on one interaction with local leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as well as Information Technology careers at Camp IT. This hands-on camp is organized by TechMGM, the partnership behind Montgomery’s technology strategy, with a goal of developing a strong workforce ready to create and work for innovative companies in Montgomery and the Montgomery AFCEA Chapter.
