Who We Are
We are the Wright Flyers - a service and social association sponsored by the Montgomery Chamber’s Military Affairs team. Our mission is simple: to support our military community and to build stronger connections through personal giving, service, and social events.

Our Mission
We’re passionate about supporting the Montgomery–River Region’s military members and their families. We do this by:

• Giving back directly to local military programs and non-profits in the community.
• Volunteering time and resources to make a hands-on difference in the lives of those who serve. One of our signature events is Montgomery Zoo Military Appreciation Day that hosts around 1,700 military members and their families yearly!
• Building friendships and networks through social events year-round ranging from formal events hosted by our military partners and the Chamber to more casual events like our “Wright Flyer Hours” and Biscuits games.

When you become a Wright Flyer, you’re not just joining a group - you’re joining a mission. You’ll make an impact on our military community while expanding your personal and professional connections.

Membership is $250/year, and every dollar goes directly back to the military community and programs. Chamber membership is not required - anyone with a passion for supporting the Montgomery River Region military community is welcome!
