The Wright Flyers vision is to be the prominent volunteer force committed to the Montgomery-River Region’s military community and their goal is to execute a substantive military quality of life projects throughout the year. Popular examples include Military Appreciation Events at the Montgomery Zoo, the Montgomery Biscuits, and the Montgomery Dance Theater. These large annual events are typically supplemented by other projects as opportunities arise throughout the year. Wright Flyers members must be a member of the chamber or work for a company/organization that holds a membership and they’re expected to actively participate and support Wright Flyers events as much as possible. $200 in annual dues are required to help fund projects and events that support the local military community.
