Bradley Partner George Parker Appointed President-Elect of Alabama State Bar

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (July 27, 2026) – Bradley is pleased to announce that George R. Parker, a partner in the firm’s Montgomery office, will serve as president-elect of the Alabama State Bar for the 2026-2027 Bar year. He assumed office during the Grand Convocation of the 2026 Annual Meeting, which was held July 15-18, and will become president of the Bar in July 2027.

 Mr. Parker will be the fourth attorney from Bradley to serve as president of the Alabama State Bar. A recipient of the President’s Award in 2020, he has been actively involved with the Bar in a number of roles, including serving as the 15th Judicial Circuit representative on the Board of Bar Commissioners. He currently serves on the Bar’s Executive Council and is the immediate past chair of the Alabama State Bar’s Litigation Section. He also is a past president of the Young Lawyers Section and was selected for the Leadership Forum Class 3, where he remains active in Leadership Forum alumni initiatives.

 A member of Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Parker represents clients in both state and federal courts across the country, with a focus on pharmaceutical, medical device, product liability, mass tort and class action matters. He has spent a significant portion of his career representing Fortune 500 pharmaceutical manufacturers and medical device companies in individual and mass tort actions as both national and local counsel. He has handled a wide range of general litigation matters representing commercial real estate corporations, insurance companies and their insureds, as well as financial and credit institutions in matters involving credit card fraud, garnishment liability, credit reporting and mortgage-related issues. Additionally, Mr. Parker serves Bradley in the capacity of firm counsel.

 Mr. Parker is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Product Liability, Commercial Litigation, Bet-the-Company Litigation and Insurance Litigation and was recognized as Montgomery’s “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Insurance in 2026, 2024 and 2022 and for Product Liability Litigation - Defendants in 2021.
