YMCA of Greater Montgomery Unveils Y Towns at Bell Road and Wilson YMCAs Interactive Play Communities Help Kids Dream Big Through Imaginative, Real-World Role Play
Montgomery, AL — The YMCA of Greater Montgomery is excited to announce the
official opening of its brand-new Y Towns at the Bell Road YMCA and James W.
Wilson, Jr. YMCA—a one-of-a-kind, interactive play experience designed to spark
imagination, creativity, and community connection in children of all ages.
Each Y Town is a hands-on replica of a real community, where children can explore,
role-play, and learn through a variety of themed areas that reflect the businesses
and services that keep our cities thriving.
“These towns are more than just play areas—they are spaces where children can
dream, discover, and explore the world around them in a way that’s both fun and
educational,” said AJ Hernandez, President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater
Montgomery. “We’re incredibly grateful to the local businesses and organizations
who partnered with us to make this dream a reality.”
Bell Road YMCA’s Y Town features replicas of business staples in our
community, such as the following:
• Adam’s Drugs – inspiring future pharmacists and healthcare helpers
