Hilltop Public House to host Montogomery’s Biggest St. Patrick’s Party

(Montgomery, Ala.) – Hilltop Public House is painting the town green this St. Patrick’s Day with an entire weekend dedicated to Irish music, cocktails, food and fun. Starting on Friday and going all the way to Sunday, Hilltop will be hosting many events for everyone.
 
The party kicks off Friday, March 15 at 5:00 with a family friendly night on the Hill. All the way from Birmingham, Celtic band Hooley will be playing live outside starting at 5:30. This is a family friendly event, so children and families are encouraged to come, grab a drink, enjoy the beautiful March weather and listen to live music with us. Rebecca Olson will be onsite face painting and the Funky Forte food truck will be serving up Irish dinner in a unique and ‘funky’ way.
 
“St. Patrick’s Wake” will be on Saturday, March 16. Returning for the third year in a row, Celtic band The Flanks will be playing live music inside under the projector. The Flanks bring a lively, loud and dynamic atmosphere to the Hilltop that’s perfect for everyone who wants to party like the Irish. The band starts at 6:30 and Funky Forte will be serving food all night. This event is 21+.
 
Wrapping up the weekend, there will be a “Wee Cheeky Brunch” brought to you by the Funky Forte food truck. Chef Amber Bonds will have a fun twist on brunch that features fun and delicious Irish classics. Brunch starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m.
 
“We’ve had St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at the Hilltop since we’ve opened, but we’re especially excited for this year’s celebration because we’re extending the dates and we’re making it family friendly,” says co-owner of Hilltop Public House Andrew Szymanski. “We love The Flanks. They played for St. Patrick’s Day weekend a month after we opened Hilltop, so they hold a special place in the history of Hilltop.”
