  • The Christmas Lights Festival Continues at the Montgomery Zoo

    MONTGOMERY ZOO (Montgomery, AL): The Montgomery Zoo is excited for another few weeks of lights, visits with Santa, live entertainment and more. Come visit the 32nd  Annual Christmas Lights Festival at the Montgomery Zoo for a walk through a winter wonderland.
     
    Zoo gates open nightly at 5:30 p.m. with the last admission at 9:00 p.m. Each admission includes entry to Zoo, the Christmas Tree Village and Santa visit at the Mann Museum, and entertainment at the Overlook Pavilion.
     
    Christmas Lights Festival admission details:
    • Regular Night Time Admission: $12 (ages 3 years and older)
    • Montgomery Zoo Members Night Time Admission: FREE
    • Early Bird Admission (Day and Night Admission): $28
     
    Additional Christmas Lights Festival activities:
    • Keepsake Picture with Santa at Mann Museum: $6
    • Train Ride: $3
    • Sky Lift Ride: $5
    • Overlook Concessions: Prices Vary

    For December 15th, come dressed up as your favorite holiday character. We are looking to see characters ranging from the Grinch, Charlie Brown, Elf, Frosty the Snowman, and more! For December 16th, we will be wearing  We are ready for Hawaiian night at the Montgomery Zoo, so wear your leis, grass skirts, and Hawaiian print shirts for everyone to see.
     
    As for live entertainment, we are excited to host the upcoming groups: Capitol Sounds Concert band, Boys and Girls club of the River Region, Montgomery Recreators Jazz Band, BTW High School Band, Forest Avenue Elementary School Choir, Pike Road High School Band, Coosada Elementary Dance Team and Show Choir, Tammy’s Dance Academy, and Dallas County High School Band and Choir.

    The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum is a 42-acre zoological facility located minutes from the heart of historic, downtown Montgomery. The Montgomery Zoo features a variety of exotic animals native to Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, and South America.     Admission: Adults $18, Children (3-12 years) $14, Toddlers (2 years and under) FREE, and Seniors 65 years old and older $16.
