A lifelong resident of Montgomery, AL, Libby Taunton began her journey with SmartBank as the inaugural Private Banker. She has played a pivotal role in Wealth Management, delivering innovative private banking services, trust, investment, strategic planning, as well as lending, deposit, and treasury management solutions. Before joining SmartBank, Libby served as Vice President, Private Banking at BBVA. With over 40 years of banking experience, she has demonstrated exceptional expertise in financial services in the Montgomery market.
Libby actively contributes to her community by serving on the boards of the Montgomery Humane Shelter, Pisgah Memorial Cemetery, and Saint James Church Women's Leadership. She also has a history of involvement with Make A Wish as a wish facilitator.
