  • Margarita “Maggie” Arellano has joined Beasley Allen Law Firm as a new staff attorney

    Margarita “Maggie” Arellano has joined Beasley Allen Law Firm as a new staff attorney. She is a lawyer in the firm's Toxic Torts Section, where she assists in handling Camp Lejeune claims.

    Before joining Beasley Allen, Maggie was an Alabama Court of Civil Appeals Staff Attorney. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Elmore County, Alabama.

    Maggie graduated with her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and biology from Smith College in 2016. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in 2020, graduating magna cum laude. She made the Dean’s List and served on the Mississippi College Law Review. 

    During law school, Maggie was the Moot Court Board Vice Chair and was selected to compete in trial, appellate, and arbitration competitions. As a Moot Court Board member, she participated in pretrial and trial seminars focused on litigation and trial strategies. In her second year of law school, Maggie received her limited-practice card. She worked as a summer associate for a private law firm in Jackson, Mississippi, helping prepare for trials, oral arguments, and mediations.

    Maggie is a member of the Alabama State Bar, District of Columbia (D.C.) Bar, and National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). She also mentors law students and judges student trial competitions.
