The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Alabama Community College System, Trenholm State Community College, Montgomery Public Schools, Alabama Region 5 Workforce Development Council and AIDT have developed training as part of a new workforce development pipeline for the River Region called Montgomery Regional Workforce Training Center (MRWTC).
This center, while working closely with industry in our area, identifies both training and skills needed for today’s workforce. Through the center, AIDT, partner staff and industry trainers conduct industry specific training that is highly individualized and customizable. MRWTC currently serves existing businesses.
Participants are able to receive certified training, which includes classes in the Manufacturing sector, critical skills and leadership development classes.
