    10th Annual Small Business Procurement Conference and Matchmaker 2-day Virtual Conference  
    The two-day virtual conference will offer educational presentations, contracting opportunities, and business connections between federal agencies, prime contractors, and corporations with Alabama small businesses.  This annual event is designed to foster contracting opportunities between federal, state, local governments, primes, and private entities with all Small, Women-Owned, Minority-Owned, Small Disadvantaged-Owned, HUBZone-Owned, and our honored Veteran/Service Disabled-Veteran Owned small businesses. 
    The conference will kick off on November 9th with educational procurement readiness workshops.  On November 10th, the educational workshops will continue. 
    At the close of the educational workshops on November 10th, attendees will be given an opportunity to virtually present their “Capabilities Pitch” to showcase their products and services directly to procurement decision-makers and small business contracting specialists from government and corporate agencies from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

    To ensure that agencies are speaking with vendors that are capable of meeting their needs, this year’s Matchmaking sessions will be segmented into four (4) major industry categories; Construction, Information Technology, Transportation/Logistics, and Professional/Service/Technical/Health.  Space is limited to 10 businesses per agency with 7 to 10 minutes to pitch.  This session is first-come, first-serve basis.  Pre-Registering early is strongly encouraged.

    The guest speaker on Tuesday, November 10 at noon is Charles Underwood, Owner/CEO of C&R Movers, Montgomery, AL, and the 2018 SBA Alabama Small Business Person of the Year.    
    This year's event is being offered at no cost. Registration and virtual networking begin at 8:30 am each day.  This event is also hosted in honor of our veterans.
