The Program Executive Office at Gunter Awards $13.4B Air Force Small Business Enterprise Applications Solutions Contract. The Air Force Program Executive Office for Business Enterprise Systems (PEO-BES) located at Maxwell-Gunter AFB awarded a major Air Force wide Small Business Enterprise Applications Solutions (SBEAS) Contract to 20 small businesses. The contract scope is for up to $13.4 billion of work to be performed over a fifteen-year period if all contract option years are used.

Montgomery, Alabama’s Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB) has been selected by the United States Air Force to receive $18 million for the construction of a new air traffic control tower (ATCT) facility for the purpose of force protection and safety. The construction is expected to begin June 2019 and conclude December 2020. On the heels of landing the F-35 fleet and an Air Force innovation hub, this signifies Montgomery’s growing military mission and worldwide impact.
