    Synovus/Sterling Bank Adds Wealth Advisor
    Rex Huxford has joined Synovus/Sterling Bank as private wealth advisor. He has 17 years of banking and private wealth management experience. Huxford was previously vice president and private wealth advisor at Regions Bank, managing a loan and deposit portfolio of more than $100 million. Prior to that, he led the loans by phone team and later managed the collateral perfection department for the centralized loan operations group. Huxford received his bachelor’s degree from Troy University in Montgomery.
     
    Trustmark Promotes New Assistant Vice President
    Trustmark recently announced the promotion of Jason Kocher to Assistant Vice President at its Montgomery Taylor Road office, where he serves as Branch Manager. Kocher has 21 years of banking experience and attended Auburn University. He is a member of the River Region United Way Loaned Executives Program.
     
    Butler Snow Adds Attorney
    Abbott Jones has joined Butler Snow’s Birmingham office. Jones will practice with the firm’s pharmaceutical, medical device and health care litigation group. “We are thrilled to welcome Abbott to Butler Snow,” said Donald Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow. “Her insight and experience in Alabama will strengthen our team in Birmingham as well as our pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare
    litigation practice.” Jones joins Butler Snow from a private practice. She previously served as a clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and practiced for six years as an appellate attorney prior to that.
     
    AEGIS-Michaud Properties Welcomes New Agents
    Ann Michaud, Broker and Owner, announced the addition of three new REALTORS® to the team of professionals at AEGIS-Michaud Properties, Inc. Nam Kim joins AEGIS with 20-plus years of experience in sales and marketing. Kim has worked as Marketing Director in a multi-national corporation in her home country of Korea. She is fluent in English and Korean and speaks some Japanese and Chinese. Lee Goodwyn has lived in Montgomery for most of her life and knows all that the River Region has to offer. Her love for helping people is one of the driving forces that led her into a career in Real Estate. Linda Browder comes to AEGIS after retiring from a successful career as a Human Resources Director and Relocation Expert. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Colorado and her master’s degree from Troy University.
     
    ARC Realty Hires New Vice President of Marketing and Communications
    ARC Realty has welcomed Casey Patterson Porter as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for its River Region office. The position was created to bring enhanced marketing services and training to ARC REALTORS®. Porter is from Fairhope, Alabama, and comes to ARC with more than eight years of marketing experience, including a knowledge in real estate technology, luxury real estate marketing, brand management and agent development. Most recently, Porter was instrumental in helping an Alabama start-up brokerage grow from a single office into a regional market leader in five years.
