After seven years leading the Alabama Trucking Association, Colson will take the wheel at the nation’s largest trucking trade association

The American Trucking Associations today named Mark Colson, president and CEO of the Alabama Trucking Association, as its next President and CEO, effective Dec. 1, 2026. Colson will become the 10th president and CEO in the history of the nation’s largest trucking trade association, founded in 1933. Colson has led Alabama Trucking since 2019, when he succeeded longtime CEO Frank Filgo.
