MONTGOMERY ZOO (Montgomery, AL): It’s back! The Montgomery Zoo and the Montgomery Area Zoological Society are thrilled to announce the return of Zoobilation: The Wildest Party in Town on Thursday, September 18. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. at the Montgomery Zoo.

Each year, this adults-only fundraiser brings together the River Region community for an unforgettable night of food, music, and fun. From mouthwatering samples provided by nearly 30 River Region restaurants to open bars, a buzzing digital auction, and live performances by local cover band, Zoobilation has become Montgomery’s go-to night out.

This year’s Zoobilation will be a little different from past years as the event will take place at the new temporary entrance, near the Mann Museum, due to the ongoing construction at the front entrance. Guests will enter by the Mann Museum, located on East Vandiver Boulevard. This has been the entrance for daily zoo admissions since construction started in June. Parking spots will be available at the museum parking lot and overflow will be near the ballfields down the street. Shuttle service for parking will be available during the event.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased online at montgomeryzoo.com in advance or at the gate during the event. Individual tickets start at $65 per person with discounts being applied to groups of 10 or more. All guests must be 21 years old to attend. Call (334) 625-4905 for more details on tickets.

The silent auction will be live on September 11th to starting bidding.  Interested parties can view and start bidding on items on our website: biddingforgood.com/mazs.

This year’s event continues to support the Zoo’s mission and raise funds for the construction of the Reptile Facility. Some of the zoo’s reptile collection will be available for viewing during the event as well as information about the future facility.

“Zoobilation has become a tradition that Montgomery looks forward to every year,” says Marcia Woodard, Montgomery Zoo Director. “It’s more than just a party—it’s a night that helps us raise money for the future of the zoo.”
