MONTGOMERY ZOO (Montgomery, AL): The Montgomery Zoo has two upcoming events on August 26: Conservation Car Wash and Zoo Volunteer Serve Day. The Conservation Car Wash is a great opportunity for guests to come by and get a car wash by the zoo staff and volunteers. Serve Day allows volunteers to help out the zoo and give back to our community.
The Montgomery Zoo is looking for volunteers for Zoo Volunteer Serve Day to help with various projects around the zoo including the Conservation Car Wash.
The Conservation Car Wash will take place from 10am-2pm and will allow guests the chance to tailgate, play games, and raise money for a good cause. Some of our Education Ambassador animals will even show up for the fun. The car wash will take place at the Community Center located beside the zoo front gate. We will be accepting a minimum of $10 donations per car.
There are various shifts available for Zoo Volunteer Serve Day: All day (9am-4pm) Morning (9am-12pm) and Afternoon (1pm-4pm). Volunteers can be adults, teens, groups, businesses, military personnel, and even families. Volunteers ages 12-16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or a designated chaperone. Volunteers under the age of 19 must obtain parent or guardian permission.

Admission: Adults $18, Children (3-12 years) $14, Toddlers (2 years and under) FREE, and Seniors 65 years old and older $16.
