Military Families Invited to Enjoy Free Day of Appreciation at Montgomery Zoo
The Montgomery Regional Chamber's Military Support Organization, the Wright Flyers, will host Military Appreciation Day at the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum on Thursday, June 11, from 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. This annual event honors the service and sacrifice of active-duty military members, retirees, veterans, and their families by providing free full-access admission to the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum. Attendees will enjoy family-friendly activities, complimentary lunch and refreshments, and remarks from community and military leaders.
Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by brief remarks from community and military leadership. Media are invited to attend and cover the event.
