Montgomery, AL – Huntingdon College President Anthony Leigh celebrated today that the College has completed the Fifth-Year Interim Report review with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), receiving notice that no referrals or follow-up information are required.
"Accreditation is an important peer review process requiring member institutions on a regular basis to demonstrate compliance with industry standards and principles of practice," stated President Leigh. "Receiving a report from the Fifth-Year Interim Report Committee indicating no referrals or request for additional information to demonstrate compliance with the principles of accreditation is a tremendous testament to Huntingdon's emphasis on academic excellence, the participatory spirit of our student body, and our focus on continuous improvement. Many members of our college faculty and staff collaborated to produce our institutional report, and I am grateful for the extensive work completed to make a case for compliance with each and every standard and principle."
The successful review affirms Huntingdon College’s continued commitment to institutional quality, academic rigor, student engagement, and ongoing improvement across all areas of the College.
