Montgomery, AL (April 20, 2026) – The 2026 recipients of the Zachary Sizemore Memorial Scholarship have been announced, and this year’s group is a great example of what makes Four Star Freightliner special.
Each recipient has a direct family connection to someone on our team, which speaks to the strong family culture we take pride in every day. We’re excited to recognize these outstanding students:
- Kaitlyn Connally, Stanhope Elmore High School, granddaughter of Warranty Director Michael Klamer
- Elizabeth Centerfitt, Crisp County High School, daughter of Service Advisor Michelle Centerfitt
- Lila Ingram, Lee-Scott Academy, daughter of New Truck and GUR Sales Manager Truman Ingram
- Seth Fryer, Headland High School, son of Credit and Collections Manager Crystal Owens
The scholarship is named in honor of Zack Sizemore, who worked in the accounting office at our Dothan location. Zack passed away in 2016 at just 32 years old after battling cancer. He graduated from Rehobeth High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in accounting, Cum Laude, and his master’s degree in Business, Magna Cum Laude, from Troy University Dothan.
More than anything, Zack is remembered for who he was as a person. He was smart, hardworking, and full of life, and he made a lasting impression on everyone around him.
Since starting the scholarship in 2017, Four Star Freightliner has awarded 40 scholarships to deserving students, including this year’s class. It’s one of the ways we stay connected to our team and support their families beyond the workplace.
Four Star Freightliner Dealer Principal Jerry Kocan shared, “Zack represented the best of who we are at Four Star. Honoring his legacy through this scholarship is about remembering him and investing in the next generation of our extended family. It’s one of the most meaningful things we do because it truly comes full circle. What started as a way to support the sons and daughters of our team has now grown to include grandsons and granddaughters. That’s what makes it so fulfilling. Our people are the foundation of everything we do, and we’re excited to support their families as they pursue their goals and build their futures.”
