Technology and Defense Leaders Gather in Montgomery for Exclusive Expert Panel Discussion and Reception
April 20, 2026MONTGOMERY, Ala. —Montgomery’s historic role in shaping U.S. air power and national defense is once
again on display as leaders in technology, innovation, and military strategy convene in the Capital City.
As Maxwell Air Force Base and Air University host the Air Force Doctrine 2035 (AFD35) wargame, senior
leaders from some of the world’s most recognized organizations — including Amazon, Google, Microsoft,
OpenAI, Raytheon, General Atomics, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory — are in Montgomery to examine how
emerging technologies will influence the future of warfare and national security. The Montgomery Regional Chamber is bringing this critical conversation off base and into downtown—creating a unique opportunity for regional leaders to engage directly with the innovators shaping the future of warfare and national defense.
We invite members of the media to attend An Expert Panel Discussion and Reception featuring thought
leaders and key stakeholders engaged in this important national dialogue. Please note, this is a private
event.
