The event is set for Monday, December 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM in front of the Phelps-Price Justice Center at the Montgomery County Courthouse, located at 251 S. Lawrence Street, Montgomery, AL 36104.
Attendees can enjoy holiday music, complimentary hot cocoa, holiday cookies, and the lighting of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, symbolizing joy, unity, and the spirit of the holiday season.
“The Christmas Tree Lighting is one of the most joyful traditions we share as a county family,” said County Commission Vice Chairman Carmen Moore-Zeigler. “It’s a moment for us to come together, celebrate the season, and reflect on the spirit of community that makes Montgomery County so special. We look forward to welcoming our employees, residents, and neighbors as we usher in the holidays.”
