City of Montgomery Announces Community Town Hall with Mayor Steven L. Reed and Councilwoman Franetta

Montgomery, AL —The City of Montgomery invites residents to attend a Community Town Hall on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church, located at 3703 Rosa Parks Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36105. The event is free and open to the public.

Mayor Steven L. Reed and Councilwoman Franetta Riley will lead a community-focused conversation centered on the issues, priorities, and opportunities shaping Montgomery’s future. Residents will hear updates on key City initiatives, learn about ongoing efforts in neighborhoods, and have the opportunity to ask questions directly to City leadership.

“This town hall is designed to give residents a meaningful space to share their perspectives and stay informed about the work taking place across our city,” said Mayor Steven L. Reed. “Community dialogue is essential as we continue building a stronger, more resilient Montgomery together.”
