ASF Foundation

The ASF Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 1982 at the request of the United States Olympic Committee. The ASF Foundation is responsible for hosting the Alabama State Games, an annual multi-sport Olympic-style event. What started with 600 athletes competing in 4 sports has grown into the largest annual multi-sport event in Alabama. Our Scholarship Initiative has awarded over $450,000 in academic scholarships to 600+ athletes. The Student Ambassadors program helps high school students develop and improve leadership skills. URKEYS2DRV Teen Driving Summit is in it 10th year impressing upon young drivers around Alabama the importance of their decisions while operating a vehicle. GRIT 101 for Teens helps students navigate life's circumstances. Our Foundation serves as a statewide mentor organization for teaching our youth the importance of academics, sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles, and good citizenship.
