Overview:
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Paint Line team. This role involves working with automated robotic systems to ensure consistent and high-quality paint application. Ideal candidates will possess strong basic reading and mechanical skills, be highly attentive, and follow instructions precisely.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor robotic paint systems to ensure proper function and finish.

Read and interpret basic production codes and instructions accurately.

Use basic hand tools and perform mechanical tasks as required.

Ensure all painting tasks meet quality and safety standards.

Maintain constant focus to ensure proper machine function and workflow.

Keep workstations clean and comply with all safety guidelines.
Requirements:

Basic reading and code-reading fundamentals.

Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Must pass a mandatory respiratory test to ensure safe working conditions.

Punctuality is required—employees must report to work on time.

Personal phone use is not allowed during working hours to ensure safety and productivity.

The production codes used on the Paint Line are the same as those used in the Bumper Sequence area, confirmed by Justin Welch.

To help with staffing, One idea is to transition employees from non-hire departments into this role with approval from Cristie, provided they meet the following criteria:

Tenure in the Bumper Seq department

Zero or no unexcused absences

Full training will be provided on equipment operation and safety procedures.
