Auburn University Credit Union, The Official Credit Union of AUM Athletics, is seeking an experienced, member-focused Branch Manager to lead our Eastchase branch in Montgomery, AL.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will direct daily branch operations, lead and develop a team of 3–10 employees and ensure exceptional member service while driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in local strategic initiatives, lending oversight, and community engagement, serving as a trusted face of AUCU in the Eastchase and surrounding communities.
What You Will Do- Oversee branch operations, staff scheduling, and service standards
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate branch personnel
- Review and process loan applications and documentation
- Ensure compliance with NCUA regulations, BSA, Truth in Lending, and other applicable laws
- Manage the branch budget and prepare performance reports
- Represent AUCU through active community involvement (Chamber of Commerce, civic groups, financial education events, etc.)
What We Are Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- 3–5 years of financial institution experience, including branch operations and/or lending
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of credit union operations and lending practices
- Proficiency with PC systems in a Windows environment
