297 Ray Thorington LLC will be completing the second expansion (36,000 sqft self-storage), representing a total of 96,000 sqft. The facility is currently being operated by Extra Space Storage. The Isaacson Family will be bringing its fourth standalone site to the city of Montgomery. This property will bring innovations to the surrounding area that will benefit the growth of communities and enhance the resident’s lifestyle by having 50-foot, 30-foot and 20-foot-deep non-climate-controlled units with varying unit widths 10-20 feet. These features will allow for RV, Boat, Vehicle and Contractor storage options and some units will have power, lights and convenient pedestrian doors. The non-climate units will have extended height doors (12-14 ft tall) to all for taller vehicles.  In addition, there will be climate-controlled storage with advanced dehumidification technology, which is only offered at this location. Finally, there will be water recharge station and a sewage dump station that will be complimentary to our tenants, providing a one stop for all their RV needs. The facility is a finalist for Storage Facility of the Year Nationally by Modern Storage Media and was named the 2025 & 2026 Finalist for the Innovative Business Category by the Montgomery Small Business Awards.
