Kicking off our bookstore’s America 250 celebrations is Keith Krawczynski, author and Distinguished Professor of History at AUM, where he has taught for 25 years; his areas of specialty include Colonial America. Krawczynski will speak about our nation’s Founding Fathers as the topic relates to civic virtue. Our Founding Fathers understood that the United States was a national experiment on republican government. For the American Experiment to succeed it required a citizenry which practiced civic virtues like courage, justice, honor, humility, and sacrifice — the willingness to put the interests of our nation above one’s own personal interests. Come join us for his talk — timely and inspirational — at The NewSouth Bookstore on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
