Think Outside the Cereal Box This September! The Heart of Alabama Food Bank, in partnership with WAKA Action 8 News, is inviting Central Alabama businesses and organizations to take action against hunger during Hunger Action Month with the Breakfast Stack Challenge! Gather your team, collect shelf-stable breakfast foods, and turn your donations into a creative tower or design. Build your logo, recreate a local landmark, create something business-themed—or see how tall you can stack! Collect. Create. Submit (by Sunday, September 13, 2026). Compete. Organizations will have the opportunity to earn bragging rights and recognition in several categories, while every item collected helps provide food for neighbors facing hunger.
