Hyundai, Montgomery Regional Chamber Bring Community Leaders Together for Leadership Briefing

On July 15, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) hosted a leadership briefing at its Montgomery facility, in partnership with the Montgomery Regional Chamber, to bring together a diverse group of community leaders from business, education, nonprofit organizations, local government, and the broader community.
 
The event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of Montgomery and the River Region. Opening the program, Tommy Treadwell, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, welcomed attendees and emphasized Hyundai's commitment to collaboration, transparency, and strengthening relationships with the community.
 
Throughout the morning, Hyundai leaders—including Pete Branham, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Stephen Tunnell, Chief Safety Officer; Reggie Williams, Senior Manager of Human Resources; and Scott Posey, Manager of Public Relations and Community Affairs—shared perspectives on the company's operations, workforce initiatives, safety culture, employee investment, economic impact, community engagement, and long-term commitment to the people and communities it serves. Attendees also participated in an open question-and-answer session that encouraged continued dialogue between Hyundai and community stakeholders.
 
For more than two decades, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama has been a driving force in Alabama's economy. Since opening in 2005, the Montgomery facility has produced millions of vehicles, employs thousands of team members, supports tens of thousands of jobs across the state, and continues to invest in workforce development, education, environmental stewardship, and charitable initiatives that strengthen communities throughout Alabama.
