-
The Montgomery Regional Chamber’s May 2026 Primary Election Guide is a nonpartisan resource designed to help voters prepare for the upcoming primary, runoff (if necessary) and general elections.
While recent developments have brought changes to certain races, this primary remains critically important. Voters will decide which candidates advance to the General Election for a wide range of key offices, including Governor, Lt. Governor, State Representatives and Senators, U.S. Senator, Sheriff, and numerous other local and statewide positions.
This guide includes important dates, voting information and sample ballots to ensure voters are informed and ready to participate in the election process. These elections will shape leadership at the federal, state and local levels, impacting policies that influence economic growth, infrastructure, workforce development and quality of life across our region.
A special primary election for U.S. Congressional Districts 1,2, 6 and 7 has been scheduled for August 11, 2026. An August 2026 Special Election Guide will be published for the special election after qualifying ends in May.
The Mobile Chamber does not endorse any specific candidate but is committed to equipping our community with the information needed to make informed decisions. We encourage all eligible voters to participate in the democratic process.
