  • Incubation Program Incubation Program

    The Montgomery Chamber Business Resource Center Incubation Program provides a mentored environment with low overhead and the maximum opportunity for growth and development. The program includes shared receptionist services, mentoring, access to shared office equipment, low-cost telephone and internet service, and free Wi-Fi access in common areas. There is a 24-hour access and after-hours security and free parking.

    Businesses considered for incubation must be in the first three years of operation, not be dependent on foot traffic, and submit a pre-application and business plan.

    Business owners can get access to counseling and advice from prominent business leaders. Entrepreneurs can tap into the wealth of knowledge and experience of Chamber Members to help them at every stage of their growth, from conception onward. Individuals are referred to mentors based on their specific needs, whether it be financing, developing business plans or adopting long-term strategies for growth.

    Point of Light Point of Light

    The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Point of Light Award honors an outstanding minority-owned or female-owned member small business for its achievements and contributions to the community. The award process is open to minority-owned and female-owned Montgomery Chamber Member businesses. Two awards are given, one for businesses that have been operational for one to nine years and another for those businesses in operation 10 or more years. The award is presented at the Montgomery Chamber’s Annual Meeting.
