Domestic violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking can cause those escaping it to travel a long and winding path. For a growing number, that course leads them to the Family Sunshine Center where skilled professionals are there to help those seeking refuge. The beauty of this place is in its function, serving as a beacon for those in need. 
Understanding how to encourage and support a victim during tough days is what makes the staff at the Family Sunshine Center so special and needed within the greater community. We are dedicated to ending family violence, sexual assault and human trafficking through comprehensive services and community-based outreach and prevention education. We foster hope and healing through immediate response, a safe haven in crisis, advocacy, counseling, and support, so that victims may be empowered to lead safe, violence-free lives.  
 But the staff here cannot do what it does as effectively and to such a degree without the help of you, our sponsors, and our donors. Your contributions throughout the year help keep, as my grandad used to say, “the doors open and the coffee brewing.”   
 This year, Ranch Roundup returns on March 31st (at the Kick Back Ranch in Ramer) where we will have a ranch-rocking fun time with music, food, and drinks. The highlight of the kickoff event is the $10,000 drawdown where more than 350 people will have a chance at the cash and a host of prizes from various businesses throughout the area.
