Montgomery, AL —The City of Montgomery, in partnership with community organizations and the Montgomery City‑County Public Library, is pleased to announce “Writing for Success and Well‑Being,” an empowering and creative youth workshop taking place Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Rufus A. Lewis Regional Library.
Designed for youth ages 8-17, this scholarship‑essay and journaling workshop will help participants discover writing as a powerful tool for self‑expression, healing, and future achievement. Attendees will also learn practical tips for crafting strong scholarship essays and building confidence in their written voice.

The workshop is co‑hosted by a coalition of local partners dedicated to supporting youth development, education, and community well‑being.
