A proud graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics\, she began her career in the U.S. Air Force as a communications-computer officer\, ascending to the rank of Captain before transitioning to marketing and business ownership.\n\nStacia was the first African American woman elected to the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the founding chairwoman of the Fortitude Foundation for the Montgomery Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. With extensive service on various boards including Renasant Bank\, National Federation of Independent Business\, and the Industrial Development Board of the City of Montgomery Stacia is deeply dedicated to community building and entrepreneurial success.
