DESCRIPTION:Montgomery\, AL   In June 2026\, the City of Montgomery was named one of ten winners of the prestigious All-America City Award by the National Civic League\, a national recognition honoring communities that strengthen civic health and build trust through resident engagement\, collaboration\, and community-driven solutions.\n\nTo commemorate this achievement\, the President of the National Civic League will join Montgomery city leaders and residents for a formal presentation of the award and plaque on September 10\, 2026\, in front of City Hall at 103 N. Perry Street. The presentation will take place during a community-wide block party from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. \n\nThe celebration will bring the community together on the steps of City Hall for an evening of live music\, food\, giveaways\, and resources provided by City departments.
