DESCRIPTION:Presented by Alabama Scenic River Trail and Montgomery Whitewater Center\n\n\nWe are excited to announce that Montgomery Whitewater will serve as the official basecamp for the 7th annual Great Alabama 650\, a 10-day endurance paddle race spanning 650 miles across the state\, hosted by ASRT. This will be a rest stop for paddlers and their crew to refuel\, recharge\, and resupply from OCT. 6-8 as paddlers pass through Montgomery.\n\n \n\n\n\nWe would like to invite the public to come on Oct. 6 from 5-7pm to celebrate the racers! Montgomery Whitewater's proximity to the Alabama River will put visitors in the perfect place to spot racers\, utilize the nearby boat ramp\, and enjoy a community night where you can learn more about the race!\n\n \n\n\n\nStop by anytime to cheer for the racers as you see them pass through Montgomery! You can track the racers to see if they've stopped by basecamp by using the live tracker on AL650.com\, or by downloading the AL650 app (instructions on Alabama Scenic River Trail's social media).\n\n \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there!
