DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nIn celebration of National Women's Business Month\, the Alabama SBDC at Alabama State University is excited to host the 12th Annual Women in Business (WIB) Little Pink Toolbox Conference. This year's theme\, "Minding My Business and My Health\," will focus on equipping women entrepreneurs with the tools for success in both business management and personal well-being.\n\nConference Highlights and Sessions:\n\n	Boost Productivity & Ease Burnout: AI & Automation Tips for Balancing Workloads\n	The Power of Journaling for Mental Wellness\n	Mindfulness for Entrepreneurs and Startup Founders\n	Balance & Breathe: Yoga for Work-Life Harmony\n	WE (Women Entrepreneurs) Real Talk Panel Discussion: Balancing the Grind\n	LaunchHER Business Pitch Competition (By Invitation Only)\n	Business Networking Opportunities\n	Lunch Provided and Exciting Door Prizes!\n\nDuring the conference\, five pre-selected women-owned startup businesses will have an opportunity to pitch their business for a chance to win up to $750. \n\nTo learn more about the LaunchHer Pitch Competiton and to submit and application to  compete click here. Business must be headquartered in Alabama.\n\nApplications are due no later than September 27\, 2024.  Only the first 35 applications will be reviewed.  Pitch contestants will be notified on October 2\, 2024.  Must be a for-profit business under two years. Contestants are required to attend the entire conference. \n\nThe cost to attend is $30.00. \n\nPayment is accepted only by check\, cashier's check\, or money order.
