Young Professionals

In 2007, the Chamber's five-year strategic plan, Imagine a Greater Montgomery, was launched. Goal IV of the plan, Embrace Diversity and Enhance Leadership Capacity recognized the need to recruit and retain young professionals. Partnering with Leadership Montgomery, EMERGE was formed as the Young Professional organization in Montgomery. At the EMERGE Montgomery Kickoff more than 500 young professionals were in attendance - EMERGE now has more than 1,200 members.
