Information Technology Committee (ITC)

Mission: Preserve and improve the Montgomery area Information Technology (IT) environment in a manner that forms a socially cohesive community providing a strong economic base, while working to position Montgomery as a globally recognized, premier provider of IT services.

Information Technology Forum

The Chamber holds three Information Technology Forums each year. A guest speaker discusses topics of interest to the local Information Technology community. Check the Event Calendar for upcoming events.

Air Force Information Technology Conference

The Air Force Information Technology Conference (AFITC) will be held August 29 - August 31, 2011 at the Montgomery Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center. One of Montgomery's largest events, the AFITC will fill the 70,000 square foot Convention Center with vendor displays and interactive activities. Additionally, there will be more than 140 professional seminars during the week-long event, as well as many guest speakers from leading IT industries. Approximately 5,500 people attend the conference each year. The economic impact on the area is estimated to be close to $30 million.
