09/20/2007 2007 Total Resource Campaign kicks-off |
The Chamber’s Total Resource Campaign (TRC), “Start Your Engines,” kicked-off Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 with a luncheon at the RSA Activity Center. TRC Chairman Larry Puckett has recruited a dynamic “team” of Vice Chairs for the 2007 Campaign. The race to the finish line includes Carl Barranco, Steve Cawood, Gene Crane, Guy Davis and Mac McLeod. After training, each vice chair selected 4-5 team captains to handle the campaign. The TRC is an initiative that allows volunteers to raise the funding for the Chamber's programs for the entire year! Unlike the traditional membership campaign, a TRC markets sponsorships of the organization's programs, events, publications and electronic media and recruits new members. Everyone wins! The organization gains members, funding, leadership and community awareness. The volunteer receives incentives, recognition, greater awareness of the organization's programs and networking with community leaders. For information about how you can become involved, contact Lynn Norton at (334) 240-9431 or email lnorton@montgomerychamber.com.
