| State & Local Government Task Force |
It is the mission of the State & Local Government
Task Force to monitor issues and legislation at the
local and state level and to make policy and position
recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors
on key issues impacting the Montgomery area business
climate.
Objectives include:
- Monitor local and state legislative and governmental
issues impacting business and the Montgomery area
community.
- Establish an elected officials briefing.
- Recommend a State and Local Issues Agenda to the
Chamber Board of Directors, working together with
area community leaders and elected officials.
Communicate Chamber legislative and policy positions
to local and state officials, media and Chamber
members.
- Hold forum events for the membershipon pertinent
issues involving public policy and interaction with
elected officials.
